Better a milestone than a millstone, I always say … when not being dragged underwater by a millstone tied to my person or having my lips ground off by a swiftly spinning millstone. Then I make very different sounds.

Oh, such dedication. (Like a splinter in your mind…)

And here we have practical monetary “sensibilities” that are about to go wrong. Oh, so wrong indeed. “You have who? and who are you? And where are you?”

what’s funny, is that i think i can’t relate to that kind of greed. which is why i’m boring. greed makes for good storying.

Congratulations on 500. Very few webcomics make it that far.

      thanks! wheeeee…..

i’m more stubborn than anything. i think about all the other artists, with wildly popular webcomics, thousands of readers, and they just get bored and quit. i can’t relate. i have a small, dedicated following, and i’d hate to let you guys down.

Most of the ones I have seen come to a stop are due to burnout rather than boredom. From the streaming I’ve seen, it takes a *lot* more work than is evident to us casual readers.

ahhh, well i didn’t think about burnout. i can see that. and yes, there’s a lot of behind the scenes work. i mean, i had to learn how to put up a website, hosting, all that jazz. and i never wanted to learn that stuff.

but now that i’ve got it going, and it’s more or less stable, and i’m not worried about hustling new readers, or turn it into something bigger than it is, i can just have fun with it. work on improving my drawing and writing.
