i’d never heard billy holiday’s speaking voice, so i looked it up. it’s much different than i thought it would be. she seemed out of it in this interview i heard. which stands to reason, seeing as how she had various substance abuse problems. then again, sandrine does too, which has been hinted at.
i’m not sure what her voice would sound like…. i suppose when casting starts for the first season of the show, we’ll have to lock that down a bit. haha

Her voice in my head finally clicked. Now she’ll always sound like Cree Summer playing Belgemine in Final Fantasy X to me.
