Jason, do you ever test your comic on devices you’ve not built in on? Or previously viewed? (If you have viewed it on the device -that isn’t what you built it on- you can dump the cookies. Off/on. Then view it. Usually works like a viewer attempting the page for the first time. (Old trick)
When I was building (tiny) personal websites, because of all the platforms (and types of devices), I had access to other platforms and devices. I’d check it on all of them pre-release.
I’m hoping this helps, not telling you how to play with WordPress (which I’m assuming you use). Heck you may already know this! All the different iOSs now out there is astonishing.
i’ve never thought to do anything like that. i mean, i guess i could optimize things better. but it’s not my forte, and with the demands on my time that the comic makes, i have to spend that time wisely. whenever i have to fix the site, and work on something outside of my wheelhouse, i end up losing a day to fumbling around learning new things.

I remember directly after my appendicitis surgery, I was ready to be up and about. Next day was different, of course.
I can see how, with adrenaline and determination, he’d be able to limp about.
