Ooh, referring a ‘friend’ to DEATH, that’s sure to win some brownie points with him, one less to collect later!
(ignore the many that were conceived or born within these few moments, if you mention it it’ll just make him sad!)

Ah, wouldn’t we all if we could! Well, aside from maintaining our frail physical forms, that is.
Unfortunately he’s a bit a bastard about that, happy to accept early arrivals while haunting the late-comers. Some get pretty good at ignoring the haunting though, so that’s an option.

not for me. my haunting would seem hypocritical, seeing as how i have a disdain for ghost horror. aside from ‘the devil’s backbone’. that’s where it lands.

I imagine that when Mom finds out about Daughter’s escape plan, with its unique combination of creativity, courage, and steely determination, she’ll be proud. It’s a total vindication of the class system.

is it? seems like it might be an indictment of high class….

Seeing how proud the mother is, I’m anxious to find out what he reaction will be when she discovers the current state of her daughter. I love your story composition, your art, everything!
    Keep up the good work.

Ideally, don’t get kidnapped in the first place. Second ideal outcome, be the last one standing. Failing those two, take out that bitch! Because, as we observe, she who is obeyed doesn’t really care about losing a bodyguard. At all. She has lots of them.

As I was told long ago, “if you’re going to be a piece of meat, be a very expensive piece of meat.”

Well, if you have to go, taking an honor guard with you beats dying alone. Especially if it’s the rotten bugger who’s killing you.

I find it interesting how no one even makes even a single sign of regret or annoyance that that guard just died so ignominiously. Bravado in order to intimidate the last remaining hostage? Or legitimate apathy?

this will become more clear, but that was completely on purpose. stick around, i show you some apathy!
