Oh, we’re going to do the ‘can people fly’ test, aren’t we? Hope they have strong roofs down below!

      I believe they can fly
I believe they can touch the sky…

For WHAT?!? FOR THE FREEDOM TO DO WHAT SHE WANTED, NOT WHAT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE EXPECTED!
    (end rant)

Sounds like this is the headless girl’s mother. She’s going to be a bit cranky when she finds out what’s happened. (Wot? You mean she isn’t cranky right now?!?)

I have the feeling she already knows something’s up, and she’s already rounded up some suspects. Someone like that would definitely have an eye on their child.

Most parents want the best for their children. In this case, though, I’m guessing mom was planning to live vicariously through her daughter.

I went back and reread the #81 sequence. Yeah, she knows, she’s pissed, and people have been/are being rounded up. She’s going to have answers, and then bodies are going over the side.

half the fun is knowing a little more than the characters do.
