Just about right, considering the circumstances!

Ideally, safely grab the critter and throw that at the guards when they come in.

Otherwise, what occurs to me is to grab two chairs, and place them on either side of the door. Stand on the back of one of them, back to the wall. The doors open inwards, into the room. The guards will most likely be trained that someone will be standing behind the door to jump them, not coming over the top of the door, down onto them.

Or the guards may just hit a switch and poison gas fills the room.

haha, well, those are some good ideas. maybe what is about to happen will suffice.

Well, you did mention earlier that I’m a fan of dignity on page 261. Therefore, I would still say I’m a good person reading this comic. You have to admit though, the skinny guy is basically standing right by the door. I mean, you could always push him through.

Aww….C’mon, Don’t threaten to stop the story on account of us, I mean, think of all the other, eh, … good people reading this…..Besides, I promise not to make any further suggestions regarding any of the characters…….Alive or dead in that room…..

no no, i wasn’t threatening to quit. and you can speculate all you like, i won’t confirm or deny things that are gonna happen. i’ve got story the story planned out for a long long time. if anyone guesses what’s gonna happen, i would be shocked. haha

The robot with the dead head wanders in having blundered into the very secure room by accident. He holds the head up to try to make a deal with who he thinks wants it. And the other people come in and mistake that head for the assassin’s head and think the robot has already claimed the bounty and they leave disappointedly. It’s pretty transparent, I just didn’t want to say anything until you got all “you don’t know what’s going to happen” and stuff.

you mean virgil? well, if you recall (maybe i should have made more of a point of this) this whole scene is in the past. which is why anders (alice) looks different, and doesn’t have a whole in her gut. the problem with being subtle, is you have to pray you did enough to make your points, without coming out and saying it. so, virgil isn’t part of this yet, the head is still on her shoulders, and chronologically, this happens before any other page posted this far.

maybe i should just create a character cheat sheet page, so people can follow it easier. i’ve added so many characters…. subtracted a few though….

Yes, I missed that. Sorry! But thanks for clarifying. Maybe a woogly flashback border for the philistines.

seriously, i thought of that. i will occasionally do flashbacks, and one thought i had early on, was to use an entirely different colour palette… but that would mess with he black and blue thing…. then again, i did it with the kris station pages… it’s a whole thing. i hope you guys are following, but i only hear from you in the comments, so, things i might think are taken for granted, are totally missed. it’s a master class in communication, and i’m a pupil.

you guys, the both of you…. here i was assuming you meant something evil ‘lite’, and you guys defaulted to evil ‘dark chocolate’. maybe i shouldn’t be writing this story after all. vicious bastards…

They were buddhist monks before they started reading this, and the darkness infected them.

            *don’t need wifi

they access it through mystical means that we wouldn’t understand. They are ancient means, though, so they didn’t anticipate the need for adblock

Oh. Wow. Here I was, thinking that you meant the skinny guy, not the now deceased man.

Wait for them to open the door, then throw him out and duck low, and hope for a chance to grab one of their guns while they chew him into today’s hamburger???
