One of my nicknames in law school was “grammar fascist” (the other was “contortion boy” – to do with fencing stretches I learned in college) … how did Molotov get upgraded to “Nazi”. Does it have to do with some dread pact he signed?
I’m totally that kind of grammar nazi. I’ve taught myself to pretend the character burped while speaking so it doesn’t bother me. It just makes me laugh now.
ah, well, thank you for saying so. i’m a bit of a perfectionist at heart, so when you end up having to do more than one job at a time, you have to let some things slide, and it’s a bit hard to loosen up.

well, it’s kind of the same thing. except not. like how all poodles are dogs, but not all dogs are poodles.
i mean, if fascism has to make a return, best that it stays in the realm of grammar, i suppose.
