i was wondering do you happen to have an end game to the story in mind or are you still working on that part

i have the overall plot worked out, most major arcs, but things like dialogue and some details aren’t completely set in stone. sometimes, i’m working on a scene, and i rethink it a bit, when i start seeing the characters reacting, and think ‘no, they would act more like this….’, a writer friend told me once, ‘let the characters tell you who they are’, and that stuck with me.

I’m … not sure it’s a good idea to let these people tell you *anything*.

i definitely tried to set up an atmosphere where oversharing is punished.

Yea I’ll defiantly spread the word. Lol, to be honest I can’t remember where I found out about it. I think it might of been a top cyberpunk comic list on a forume or it might of been comixology even, either way i plan on purchasing the ones from comixology & I’ll check out you patreon

oh yeah, i remember i got on a tumbler list once, got a bunch of readers off that…. i wish i got more out of the comixology thing, but i think after they killed in app purchases, a lot of readers strayed from them. but that’s just my guess.

This web comic has been awesome, I have been reading from the beginning for the past week & im very impressed. I was digging around the internet looking for any kind of cyberpunk comics or graphic novels & came across this and I’m glad I did. I just love the noir characters especially virgil, he really surprised me. Hes an asshole that just out for him self but he’s so good at it. And you can’t blame him cuz of the kind of world he lives in.
How often do you release them? I also saw that you had a few chapters on comixology

thanks so much for saying so! where did you hear about the comic? i’m always curious, cause i’m not advertising like i used to, and it’s hard to get noticed these days. but i’m glad you discovered it!

i post a page every week, never missed a post yet, but as for whole episodes, i don’t really compile them anymore. i used to put them up on comixology back in the day, and i still draw covers for them, just for fun, but compiling and publishing them was too time intensive, and the never really got much traction, so, i just choose to spend my time creating new stuff instead.

and yeah, virgil is fun to write for. he’s such a bastard, i just think ‘what lie would a complete jerk tell in this instance?’ thanks for visiting. check out my patreon at https://www.patreon.com/blackandblue, and if you know anyone who might like the comic, please let them know! black and blue is not supposed to be a secret i’m keeping! haha

House Bolton: “A naked man has few secrets, but a flayed man has none.”

House Unger: “A man’s secrets might have value, but his meat always sells by the pound.”

So is Gibson dropping by Unger routine, or did Unger get more info than he’s letting on, and Unger is planning on using Gibson?

it comes up soon. more of a ‘letting your local protection racket know the score’ situation.
