Weapon detector, not ladder detector, not threat detector.

That’s a lot of force to move a heavy ladder six to twelve inches and knock someone out. Kuiper was right to be nervous about him.

ah, well, i meant it more to appear that he pulled her to the ladder by her goggles, and not the other way around. but 6 of one….

Yeah, after I posted, I took another look. The fist around the goggles isn’t too obvious. Still, Gibson isn’t a powder puff, and that’s a lot of force in a short distance.

When I was in the Army, I met a fellow who could do impressive round house kicks. He told me to hold out my hand in front of me, palm to the side. He wound up, and on the second try (he’d been drinking), he solidly connected. My hand was numb for about a minute.

sounds like a tough guy. i guess there’s different kinds of tough. my intention was to come up with something more casual seeming for that action, but i find that a casual action that knocks someone out is a tough thing to convey. always failing, always learning. next time, i’ll nail it!

Gotta love a guy who knows how to play by the rules.

That’s the problem with being a mere ticked off person in a world of psychopaths. They switch from affable to violent instantly, no warning or hesitation. Attitude is no match for that.

Well now we know how she ended up in the dungeon. And we also know that one person gained possession of two military grade disintegrators.
