Was the pilot talking to a ghost? Or was the event pre-demise? It wasn’t clear. Great story though! The Where’s Wilbur? comment had me almost trying to look it up. Then I thought WHAT exactly? Because I’ll get more than a few hits on “Wilbur”.. which is when I muttered “oh” at my iPad. 😂
    Thanks Ed!

A pilot delivering a jet aircraft to a test field was approached by an elderly gentleman, and asked good solid questions about the flight characteristics of the craft. Official staff was around, and had been talking with the gentleman, so the pilot answered. When he asked the staff, he found out that the man he’d been talking with was Orville Wright (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948).

I was trying to be funny. If I in any way offended you, I’m sorry. Your comic is one of only a tiny handful on line that I read, and look forward to every week. I think it’s one of the best science fiction stories Ive read, and your characters, world, and story are unique. Ed.
