The Smiley gang said they were going to knock the door down. So, “knock knock, boom boom!” Did they knock loudly, or maybe the door bell is kind of loud? Or maybe the door is the kind that should have a safety recall.
Virgil is looking … at a canister, looks like he’s going to grab it. But it looks like it’s too small to contain another head.
haha, glad you’re into it enough to feel hooked by the ‘what comes next’. so far, no one’s guessed right. but, i wouldn’t say if you did, so, there’s that.
Just found your comic today. Outstanding work! for the record, the grins (or a fantasy gang very much like them) are about to make an appearance in my unpublished RPG group. If i can convey half of the feels these F*!#$ers do, the players will crap themselves.
That has been my exact reaction to several events in life. I’ve lost so many comics that I loved. In fact, only The Maxx and Bondage Fairies remain *sobs softly into pillow*

I bet it is them, though if it isn’t that’d be quite the twist. I suspect they killed the ‘butcher’ and took the unfinished robot to use to find/kill the farmer (girl above – you’d think I’d remember her name…)
