sellin’ out
i’m thrilled to announce i’ve sold out! this week’s post is being brought to you by Taco Bell! ‘Taco Bell, think of diarrhea as a reboot for your colon.’
i’m worried i might lose corporate sponsorship. well, if that happens, i guess i’ll just have to find someone else to help put this out. some money coming in would be nice. just bought a new computer and i’d rather someone else pay for it. that plan has not worked out well in the past. it would seem that people don’t like giving money away and getting nothing. go figure.
thanks to everyone who’s been voting for Black and Blue on topwebcomics.com. it means a lot that people would make the effort to help increase my ranking. which really only helps publicize, and maybe attract new readers. but it’s nice to think that if i’m doing this anyhow, i’m reaching the most people possible, and rising above the din of the internet.
life and work are seriously getting in the way of my leisure activities, but i made time for you, silent internet person i’ve never met. so go make time to watch ‘clockers (1995)’
good movie. not alot to say. if you liked the wire, but wondered, what would it be like, with like…. less wire… you’d have clockers.
and this doesn’t mean i forgive you, spike lee, for trying to remake Oldboy. you lug that shame to the grave. but this was a good flick. plus i’m just a sucker for john turturro.
but john, you’re still on the hook for transformers.
haha, i’m amusing myself pretending these guys read my comic, and are at home all dewy eyed reading this like ‘aw man…… sigh……’. it’s fun to pretend.
What the hell is that giant machine silhouetted on the horizon?
3D printer for ships, spacecraft, skyscrapers?
good eye. yes, that is something that will play in the future, but no, it’s not a 3d printer. unless i decide that that’s a better idea than what i came up with already, in which case, yes, that’s what it was the whole time.
Less wire? Does Clockers have more clocks? I am honestly blanking on whether I have seen this one or not. If I did see it, it hasn’t been since it first came out. I wish I had all the money to throw at you for advertising or equipment or whatever. You really should set up a Patreon and see what bites. The other artists make a killing even doing small things like $5 a month gets you a monthly sketch done hastily on a bar napkin or an paragraph long email from the character of their choice. I used to get tax money around April, so start hinting at me around them and if I get a refund I’ll let you send me a wish list and see what I can do!
aw, that’s really nice, but i don’t want to take your refund money off you. you probably need that for more useful things. but the patreon idea is seeming more and more appealing. but i would say this, for people who would like to help, and don’t have the most money, just tell a friend. sooner or later, we’ll reach someone rich. haha
That is what I’m hoping for as well. Gotta be someone generous out there who actually HAS money, right?
yeah, well, aside from taco bell.
ah well, it’ll all come together. then i can farm the job out to someone else and be a soulless fat cat sellout. that’s the dream!
Didn’t see that coming!
I have no idea where the story is going, and I love it!
happy i’m keeping ya guessin!
