Why is Virgil such a liar? I haven’t seen him give a straight answer yet in this comic. And by what Gary said about him, apparently Virgil isn’t know for being the most trustworthy.
i’m dropping made up a slang on you guys occasionally. it’s just the phone. how he was able redial, and get in the middle of this whole thing. maybe i should create a BS slang guide. haha
i kinda want to show that’s it’s a rich world, with all it’s own subtlety, without making it different just for the sake of being different. it’s a wire thin edge to run.

I’ve noticed so many comic artists don’t like to make dark comics, but I believe that there is a raw beauty to the harshness of it all. I really believe that it shows character in who they really are. I’m not talking about you. I’m talking about the comic characters. They just feel so real and alive and you don’t pish posh things, that’s for sure! Way to go!
thanks so much for saying so! yeah, a lot of web comics are light, and funny, and cute, and that’s great for them. the artists are speaking to the kind of things that seems real to them. but coming from me, that wouldn’t seem as genuine.

I’m not here to talk about the election. I wanted to mention something in comic page 232. I just wanted to point out, that technically getting a cut is still stealing because he is not getting all the money, only part of it. She is still trying to rob him at gunpoint. If she wants to make friends with him, she will take him to the buyer so he can receive payment for the head as long as the buyer is not bluffing about the money and not take any of it for herself. Just saying, she is asking for trouble and she is asking to making an enemy. This might be random, but I wonder if the robot is going to screech at her to disorientate her hearing. He doesn’t seem to strike me as the type to ask nonchalant questions for no reason. Sorry for how much I blabbed, I really love this comic! ^^
no worries about blabbing, snake. i appreciate that my fans are paying that close attention. and you’re right, i probably shouldn’t have used the term ‘take my cut’, as she’s not intending to be paid from virgil’s share, but she’s just getting paid by weuren to find him.
so, in that light, she’s not really robbing him, just keeping a gun on someone she knows has a dismembered head on them. but that’s a good point. if i get a chance, i’ll make that correction to save other people an confusion. and the hearing question is really just an off the cuff insult. i don’t think virgil has any super screeching ability. haha

yeah, it’s a character flaw of his that will come deeper into play as the story goes on.
